Previously known professionally as Danielle Chatelain, PA-C

Danielle Wiley, PA-C, formerly known professionally as Danielle Chatelain, is an experienced aesthetic medicine provider and founder of Calibrae Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Winchester, Virginia.

Many of Danielle’s longtime patients first came to know and trust her under her former last name before she founded Calibrae. Today, her work remains rooted in clinical precision, structural understanding, and a diagnosis-first philosophy that prioritizes treating the underlying cause, not simply the visible concern.

Danielle is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in advanced aesthetic medicine, facial balancing, skin quality, and thoughtful treatment planning. Her work is rooted in clinical precision, structural understanding, and a diagnosis-first philosophy that prioritizes treating the underlying cause, not simply the visible concern.

Her path into medicine began with a personal commitment to health and wellness, where she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between discipline, physical change, and long-term outcomes. That foundation continued during her time as a collegiate athlete, playing rugby at Penn State University while studying kinesiology and contributing to a national championship team—an experience that continues to influence her performance-driven, anatomy-focused mindset.

Danielle's early clinical experience was shaped within regenerative medicine at National Spine & Pain Centers in Tysons Corner, Virginia, where she worked under the mentorship of Dr. Mayo Friedlis. Over several years, she developed a strong foundation in injection-based therapies, sterile technique, and protocol-driven care, while gaining an appreciation for thoughtful, patient-centered treatment and ethical clinical decision-making.

She went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University, where she trained in a hands-on clinical environment and completed advanced cadaver-based anatomical coursework. This experience deepened her understanding of facial structure, anatomical variation, and precision-based injection techniques.

Danielle's background also includes several years in family medicine with a focus on medical weight loss and GLP-1 therapy. This experience provided her with a unique understanding of the structural and facial changes associated with weight loss, further informing her approach to comprehensive, long-term aesthetic planning.

Prior to founding Calibrae, Danielle played a central role in developing and expanding an established aesthetic practice, where she helped build the injectable department and introduce a range of advanced treatment services. This experience further refined her clinical systems, consultation approach, and commitment to intentional, outcomes-driven care.

Her work today is guided by The Layer Method™, a diagnosis-first framework designed to identify the true anatomical drivers of a concern and treat them in the correct layer and sequence. She is known for a conservative, structure-first approach that prioritizes balance, longevity, and natural results.

Through Calibrae, Danielle is building a practice centered on thoughtful medicine, elevated aesthetics, and a higher standard of care.
